For Megan, practicing law isn’t just about legal arguments—it’s about people. She believes in truly listening to her clients, understanding their needs, and fiercely advocating for them every step of the way. In her words, “I work for my clients—they don’t work for me.”
A Nashville native, Megan attended Hume-Fogg Academic High School before earning her Political Science degree from Southern Methodist University and her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. She began her career as a Nashville Public Defender, representing hundreds of clients in misdemeanor and felony cases. This experience sharpened her courtroom skills and deepened her understanding of the legal system and those navigating it.
Megan then expanded into civil litigation, where her tenacity and strategic mindset have made her a formidable advocate. She has handled countless trials and hearings, bringing both legal expertise and a keen understanding of human nature to every case.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys playing volleyball, going to estate sales, and hunting.
